This braid line is going on my penn 7500LC VII reel surfcasting 14.6ft Prevail rod. I've previously had the same braid line in 30lb on a diawa shorecast 6000 reel with a 12ft rod. Good strong line. Casts well with 4/5oz sinkers. Thoroughly recommend the Premium X8 Braid Line.

I bought 2 reels the other Daiwa 6000 legalis. When comparing them this reel had a lighter bail arm and i was a bit concerned. Over a year later the reel is still going strong. Smooth drag and still like new and never a problem with the bail arm. Delivery was fast and product well packaged. Recommend buying from Reelsdeal.

I’ve owned this reel for a few months now, but have only had the chance to use it once so far. That said, it performed really well when I did, and I managed to land a nice pannie snapper using a kabura-style lure. I found it comfortable and ergonomic in the hand, and the oversized handle is a great touch. It winds smoothly, and the 7.3:1 gear ratio gives it excellent speed for retrieving lures.

Out of curiosity, I opened up the reel yesterday to have a look inside. The internal build is quite good, especially for a reel at this price point. I applied a light coat of lube to the drag washer as recommended, and that already seems to help the drag run smoother.

All in all, this is a great reel for the price—an excellent budget option for slow jigging. To get something similar from brands like Penn or Shimano, you'd likely spend 2–3 times as much.

D***, it's exactly the same as the Uzio GCB300H! I got it because my buddy has one, and that reel has helped me land some solid snappers.

A great value for money. Well packaged and in perfect condition. First impressions were solid, feels sturdy in hand, smooth retrieve. 7.3:1 gear ratio makes it super quick to wind in. The oversized handle feels comfy and the overall design is pretty nice.

The drag is smooth and solid, gives me confidence when fighting. Great built. Materials feel tough and well.

All in all, way better than I expected for the price. Totally worth getting if you're after a budget-friendly option that performs well. Service was great, arrived next day. Will def buy again and already told a few mates.

Handels big Barracuda and Blue Cod with ease, even hooked up on a Stingray, with 0 issues from the reel. After a quick rinse, it feels ready to head back out again =). (no photos dropped phone in ocean XD)
