The TICA X-JIGGER is a high-speed jigging reel engineered for consistent performance and long-term use. Developed as a follow-up to the TITANCLAW TC300, it maintains the same focus on durability, smooth operation, and quality construction.

Field-tested in New Zealand, the X-JIGGER has proven effective for catching snapper and kingfish using stickbaits and sliders. It’s also used across Southeast Asia and Europe for targeting strong game fish with heavy lures.

This compact, ergonomic reel offers a comfortable grip, with a deep spool that accommodates up to 300 meters of 40lb PREMIUM X8 (0.31mm). The body is made from a GR composite material, known for its strength and resistance to wear.

A multi-stage lever drag system allows one-handed operation, delivering consistent and smooth drag control throughout the fight.

Great budget reel!

I’ve owned this reel for a few months now, but have only had the chance to use it once so far. That said, it performed really well when I did, and I managed to land a nice pannie snapper using a kabura-style lure. I found it comfortable and ergonomic in the hand, and the oversized handle is a great touch. It winds smoothly, and the 7.3:1 gear ratio gives it excellent speed for retrieving lures.

Out of curiosity, I opened up the reel yesterday to have a look inside. The internal build is quite good, especially for a reel at this price point. I applied a light coat of lube to the drag washer as recommended, and that already seems to help the drag run smoother.

All in all, this is a great reel for the price—an excellent budget option for slow jigging. To get something similar from brands like Penn or Shimano, you'd likely spend 2–3 times as much.

Also, big thumbs up to Reelsdeal. Their service was excellent, and shipping was super quick. I’ve already recommended them to a few mates, and I’ll definitely be back for more.

Great reel for the value

Very Sturdy reel with smooth drag, plenty of stopping power when needed. Paired very nicely with my Daiwa Demon Blood OH rod for deeper jigging.

A great value for money. Well packaged and in perfect condition. First impressions were solid, feels sturdy in hand, smooth retrieve. 7.3:1 gear ratio makes it super quick to wind in. The oversized handle feels comfy and the overall design is pretty nice.

The drag is smooth and solid, gives me confidence when fighting. Great built. Materials feel tough and well.

All in all, way better than I expected for the price. Totally worth getting if you're after a budget-friendly option that performs well. Service was great, arrived next day. Will def buy again and already told a few mates.
